Navy & Stripes

Well my hair is officially curly in this heat! But I was having fun with it here. I love this dress and have not gotten to wear it nearly enough! The material is really comfortable and I love the shape. 

Wearing Nasty Gal dress, Saks wedges, and H&M & Sorelli jewelry (I'm also obsessed with this nail color its a metallic gun metal by NYC- Bowery Black). This dress is so cool in itself I wanted to keep my accessories pretty simple. I paired it with my white Alexander Wang wallet I tend to carry as a clutch to brighten it up and bring the white out in the shoes- great summer dinner ensable!

Punk: From Chaos to Couture: My Best Dressed of the 2013 Met Ball

Givenchy, Valentino, Posen, & Gurung, Uma, Anne, Cameron, & Sarah, Anna Wintour's Punk themed Met Ball certainly did not disappoint. Of course there were some outfits I was not so fond of *cough a dress that turns into gloves* but there is nothing I love more than a red carpet oozing with studs, leather, & chiffon! I was especially digging these gorgeous studded Burberry pieces on Sienna Miller and Cara Delevigne, SJP's major mohawk headpiece, and Anne Hathaway's stunning Valentino dress and sexy new hair.

The Staple Maxi

I am absolutely in LOVE with this dress! I have been looking for a perfect black maxi dress- long enough for me to wear with heels, and can be dressed up or down, it was something I thought would be easy to find, but ended up being a tough order to fill! However, Forever 21 killed it with this dress, I am just obsessed. I am really into this trend of the sheer maxi dresses and skirts with a slip underneath, its is really flattering and adds a dimension to the silhouette that you dont get from just one opaque layer. This dress photographed so beautifully, I really had fun posing in it.

Chic & Shine

I love Grand Central so much I just had to take another round of pictures there! When I went on this pants ramage at Bloomies I also found this great pair of AG leggings. I love them because they are stretchy and comfortable, but can be really easily dressed up by this great shiny finish!

Wearing H&M peplum cut out top, AG pants, Christian Louboutin pumps, Extasia necklace, Chanel Tote, Marc by Marc Jacobs and H&M accessories, Kate Spade 'Supercalifragilipstick' lipstick in Adventure Red, and Essie #710 nail laquer (its like this great really deep green almost grey, I am obsessed!) (and the snapback I borrowed from a random bystander, hehe).

Patterned Up in Grand Central

Between working for Zac Posen, on the set of What Not to Wear, AND at Kate Spade, I have had little to not time to blog (clearly), BUT I am here to stay now (I hope)!

These pants are one of my new favorite pieces- I found them at Bloomies in Soho, and just love them. A great pair of patterned pants can be an important staple piece in one's wardrobe- I like these because they aren't as in your face as some. I had so much fun taking these photos in Grand Central with Alison and Clara (Thank you, thank you for the help)!

California Dreaming

 I was feeling totally inspired by this awesome tank top I just bought at Brandy Melville! These are one of my absolutely favorite pairs of jeans, but they have a rip in the knee, so I dont get to wear them as much as I would like. I just love the studded embellishments around the top! I am so excited to say that I am now interning for not only Zac Posen but also with a stylist on the set of What Not To Wear! My first day is tomorrow and I absolutely can not wait!

New York, New York...

Hello! I must apologize for my little MIA stunt over these past few weeks. If you did not know, moving to New York City, into a new apartment, with a new job, in two weeks, from Georgia, is tough work! But, I am pleased to announce that I am here (if you follow on Instagram you of course already know this) and I am so excited to begin this new chapter of my life!

I am now working as a PR intern for Zac Posen which is absolutely unbelievable! He is such a genius and I feel honored to be interning for him. Unfortunately, I can not share photos from inside the office, but I will certainly keep updates of what I am wearing to work and events!

Sadly, three very full suitcases was not enough for me and all my clothes to get to the big apple, so my camera did not make it in the first load. However, it is being sent to me. Until then I will continue to instagram, so be sure to follow me! Hopefully I will have my camera within a week or so and can continue on in my style diary!
